Jet Li Works With Adidas To Create Wuqi Aerobics

Adidas, the world's leading sports brand, and Mr. Jet Li, founder of the Chinese Kungfu star and "one fund", announced in July 6th that they will become partners in Shanghai. The two sides will launch a series of cooperation in the field of fitness in the coming years.

The purpose of this cooperation is to call on more Chinese people to join the ranks of fitness, through sports, get out of the constraints of urban reinforced concrete, and surpass the noise and annoyance of modern cities, so as to achieve a healthy state of "body and mind balance".

Jet Li, who is the architect of Wuji gymnastic exercise, has been working for the first time in three years, covering the mainland of China, Hongkong, Taiwan and Macao.

Around the concept of "balance between body and mind", the two sides will jointly create a new fitness course and carry out nationwide promotion. Besides, Mr. Jet Li's participation in the design of fitness products will also begin in 2009.

On the same day, the first "work" of cooperation between the two sides was unveiled at the press conference: the new fitness training course called Wuji is a combination of traditional Wushu and modern sports, aiming at stimulating the development of physical fitness and spiritual harmony.

It absorbs the temperament and essence of Wushu movements, and integrates the elements of modern sports with the perfect integration of movement and quiet, rigidity and flexibility.

At the press conference, hundreds of fitness enthusiasts took the lead in experiencing this brand new course under the guidance of fitness trainers.
