Ministry Of Commerce: Clothing Inflation Rate In Iran Is Close To 50%
The financial Tribune reported on June 29 that the annualized inflation rate of clothing and footwear in Iran was 49.1% in the third month of the current fiscal year (May 22 to June 21), according to the Statistics Center of Iran. After the Iranian government reformed the import subsidy policy, the prices of all kinds of food increased by 25.9% on average compared with the previous month, and the prices of other general commodities were rising in a chain reaction.
