hello everyone!

Manufacturing is the foundation of building a country and a strong country. During the National "Two Sessions" this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "at any time China cannot lack manufacturing industry". As an important origin of China's modern industry, Qingdao is not only a city with profound manufacturing heritage, but also a city with many industrial heroes. Comrade Hao Jianxiu is an outstanding representative of the first generation of textile workers from Qingdao. In the first year of comprehensively implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, we gathered in this century old textile city to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the "Hao Jianxiu Group", which has important practical significance and profound value of the times. Here, on behalf of the China Textile Industry Federation, I would like to congratulate the event. At the same time, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the leaders of Party committees and governments at all levels in Shandong Province, Qingdao City and friends from all walks of life who have long cared about and supported the development of the textile and clothing industry!

As the mother industry of China's modern industry and an important component of China's modernization, the textile industry has always been an industrial sector with rich innovation practices and abundant labor heroes. For more than 70 years, generations of textile workers, with a mind of "being the greatest of the country", have firmly established their original mission, displayed their ambitions and made contributions in their respective posts, bravely spearheaded and devoted themselves to the journey of building a textile power, and created a splendid cause worthy of the Party, the people and the times. The "Hao Jianxiu Group" named after Comrade Hao Jianxiu is just one of the outstanding representatives. It not only left a strong mark for Qingdao textile industry, but also became an indelible banner of China's textile industry.

In the past 70 years, the team has bravely shouldered heavy burdens, and demonstrated its responsibility of the times in overcoming difficulties. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, under the weak and backward industrial conditions, Comrade Hao Jianxiu created the "spinning method" of high yield, high quality and low consumption, which strongly promoted the recovery and development of the textile industry in New China. Since the reform and opening up, in the face of the huge transformation of the economy and society, the team has dared to face up to problems and overcome difficulties. With a high sense of responsibility and the spirit of responsibility, it has continued to create economic values, people's livelihood values, and serve regional and industrial development in the wave of marketization.

After 70 years of hard work and innovation, the group has taken the lead in the development of innovation practice. The group is a pioneer in integrating system engineering with China's industrial production, and also a leader in basic management and operational technical specifications of the industry. In the changes of the times, the team always maintains the sense of innovation, breaks the stereotype of thinking, actively adapts to the new wave of scientific and technological revolution, constantly overcomes the weak points of ability and experience with new technologies, new methods and new models, and maintains a faster pace in production, more in-depth and practical.

After 70 years of dedication, the team has created an industrial ecology in the inheritance. The team's dedication is reflected in its hard work and solid work, and in promoting the continuous development of industrial talents through mentoring. Over the years, it has cultivated 40 cadres and management personnel and 258 technical backbones for the industry. The team is a practitioner of innovation and a driver of innovation. Driven by the demonstration of Hao Jianxiu's group, Zhao Mengtao's group, Deng Jianjun's scientific research group and a large number of national advanced textile teams have emerged.

In the past 70 years, the team has been striving to be first-class and leading value creation in the pursuit of excellence. The team has always maintained its pioneering nature in the industry, kept improving, climbed the peak bravely, overfulfilled the production plan every month for 70 consecutive years, and all economic and technical indicators have always been at the leading level. A number of model workers and advanced workers have emerged in this process. The group has produced three national model workers, four winners of the "May Day Labor Medal" and six national textile model workers.

The train runs fast. It's all driven by the locomotive. As the "Shandong symbol" and "textile symbol" in the spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of China, the "locomotive spirit" with the main connotation of "bravely shoulder heavy burdens, strive for innovation, be willing to contribute, and strive for first-class" is not only the collective memory and spiritual navigation mark of the people of the whole country, but also a powerful power to inspire and inspire the vast number of workers to overcome difficulties and forge ahead bravely in the new era. Today, on the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the "Hao Jianxiu Group", on behalf of the China Textile Industry Federation, I would like to express our gratitude for the contributions made by the Group and pay tribute to the achievements made by the Group!

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation should be comprehensively promoted with Chinese style modernization. Building a modern textile industry system and practicing high-quality development are the requirements of the times for the industry. Industrial workers are the key to forge ahead on a new journey and make contributions to the new era. We should better integrate into the process of Chinese style modernization, vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor spirit and craftsmanship, and strive to create a grand textile industry workforce with ideals and beliefs, understanding technology and innovation, and daring to take responsibility and dedication.

To this end, we should strive to:

1、 Improve the political position, and put the leadership of the Party throughout the construction of the industrial workers. We should take a clear stand and stress politics, and use Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era to guide the development of the textile industry workforce. Constantly strengthen the ideological construction, guide the staff to deeply grasp the "two establishment", strengthen the "four consciousness", strengthen the "four self-confidence", achieve the "two maintenance", and constantly improve their political consciousness, ideological consciousness and action consciousness. It is necessary to integrate industry work and workforce construction into the overall situation of national development and national revitalization, maintain a high degree of consistency with the CPC Central Committee in ideology, politics and action, and consciously maintain and serve the overall situation. We should actively adapt to the new changes and characteristics of the contemporary workforce, innovate working methods and carriers, and improve the ability and effectiveness of ideological and political work.

Focusing on the new requirements of high-quality development of the "science and technology, fashion, and green" industry, we will constantly improve the size and quality of the industrial workforce, so that industrial workers can assume greater responsibility and mission in the self-improvement of technology, and create greater value and contribution in the establishment of cultural self-confidence. Support the industry with higher quality industrial workers to accelerate the transformation and upgrading to high-end, intelligent and green industries. Focusing on the cutting-edge knowledge, technological progress and practical problems of the industry, we will focus on cultivating industry leading talents, high-end innovative talents, professional and technical talents and vocational and technical talents. Constantly optimize the industrial labor and skill competition system, improve the evaluation method of industrial workers' skills, and cultivate more technical experts and large country craftsmen.

3、 Improve the humanistic value, and run the overall development through the construction of industrial workers. We will do a solid job in selecting and commending the advanced collectives, model workers and advanced workers in the national textile industry, improve publicity, education and management services, and ensure that the award is the person, the award is the performance, and the award is the time, so as to promote the emergence of more advanced collectives and individuals.
