The National Standard Test Methods For Physical And Chemical Properties Of Ramie Passed The Review

Recently, the National Fiber Standardization Technical Committee held a national standard review meeting in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and the Test Methods for Physical and Chemical Properties of Ramie passed the review.

The standard is led by Hunan Fiber Testing Institute and completed with the strong cooperation of Sichuan Fiber Testing Bureau, Donghua University and other institutions. On behalf of the standard drafting group, Hunan Fiber Testing Research Institute introduced the drafting process, preparation instructions and collection of comments to the experts at the meeting. The expert group carefully discussed the draft of the standard for review and commented on various test methods. It was agreed that the standard further improved 11 physical and chemical performance test methods of ramie fiber, adapted to the new trend of industrial development, and was of great significance for promoting the healthy and orderly development of the industry. The experts at the meeting fully affirmed the work achievements of the standard drafting group, gave further suggestions for revision, and confirmed that the standard was approved with complete materials for review, scientific and reasonable indicators and contents, and in line with the actual needs of the relevant industries, with strong practicability and operability.

In the next step, Hunan Fiber Inspection Institute will further improve the relevant data according to the opinions of the expert group to form a draft for approval and submit it to the National Fiber Standardization Technical Committee.
