Shaw industrial group will close the spinning factory in Trenton, California, mainly due to the decrease in market demand for some ground cover products.

The plant will be shut down in second or third weeks in November. The closure of the plant will affect 440 employees.

According to Hal Long, the vice president of operations, some of the company's production lines are overcapacity.

The real estate market is in a big downturn, and the fluctuation of customer demand is very large.

Consumers' preferences for market demand change. Companies must conform to the new consumption trend, reduce demand and reduce production of products.

But the company will resettlement workers to other jobs.

Shaw organizes regional employment conferences to create more job opportunities for employees who are affected by factory closures.

Shaw industrial group, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is the largest carpet manufacturer in the world. It is the leader in the supplier of flooring products, with annual sales of over $5 billion.
