The State Council Has Launched Six Policies To Support The Development Of Light Textile Industry.
Premier Wen Jiabao chaired a State Council executive meeting on 19 April to study and deploy policies and measures to promote the healthy development of light textile industry.
The conference study identified 6 policy measures to promote the healthy development of the textile industry. (1) expand domestic demand, popularize "home appliances to the countryside" throughout the country, and give financial subsidies to farmers to purchase household appliances. (two) increase the scale of financial support for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises at all levels. (three) to further reduce the tax burden and alleviate the cost pressure. (four) actively expanding exports, consolidating and developing international markets. (five) encourage and guide financial institutions to increase financial support. (six) increase the technological pformation of light textile industry and promote industrial upgrading.
