"We signed the export contract in the first two quarters of 2012, but the volume of exports decreased by 20% compared with the previous year," said H.T., director of footwear industry in Kampuchea based in Hu Zhiming.


He believes that most of Vietnam's export market decline is mostly in the European market, which has already exacerbated the deterioration of the global economy by cutting costs.


In addition, local footwear exports are also faced with litigation and disputes from competitors such as Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
