A Fire Broke Out In A Clothing Industrial Park In Qiaosi Street, Yuhang District

At 8:23 on November 23, 2020, a fire broke out in the workshop of a clothing industrial park in Qiaosi street, Yuhang District. Several fire rescue forces, including Linping fire rescue station, Qiaosi full-time fire brigade, Qianjiang fire rescue station, have rushed to the scene for disposal.

A clothing factory worker said, "I work in a clothing company inside, and I went to work at 9 o'clock. When I arrived at 8:40, the warning line had been pulled up." The company where she works is close to the side of the road, not where the fire broke out. "We are still waiting for the boss's notice. We don't know if we can go to work today."

Another worker, Mr. Jin, who was waiting outside the cordon, said he came to work in the industrial park around 8 o'clock. "I was working in the building where the fire broke out. Shortly after I went upstairs, I heard someone calling for a fire. I ran down quickly." Mr. Jin said he didn't see the fire when he evacuated, but smelled a strong smell of smoke.

"When I ran outside, I saw the fire. It was going up and down." After a while, the fire truck arrived, Mr. Jin said.

At about 9:44 am, the fire department again sent news that the fire had been extinguished.

The fire engines on the scene have returned one after another, but many workers are still waiting outside the industrial park. "There are several clothing warehouses in the factory building on fire. It is estimated that the boss of the clothing company has lost a little bit." Some employees working in the industrial park are asking whether their company has suffered losses.
