Germany'S Commodity Exports Rose On A Month On Month Basis For 14 Consecutive Months; Germany; Commodities; Exit

Germany's commodity exports rose 1.3% month on month in June, the 14th consecutive month on month rise, according to data released by the Federal Bureau of statistics on the 9th; The volume of commodity imports rose by 0.6% month on month.

According to the data, German merchandise exports and imports rose by 23.6% and 27% respectively in June. In the same month, Germany's exports and imports to other EU Member States increased by 26.1% and 22.1% respectively; Exports and imports to countries and regions outside the EU increased by 20.7% and 33% respectively year on year.

The data also showed that China was the largest source of German imports in the month, with German imports from China of 10.9 billion euros, up 11.1% year-on-year; Germany's export to China was 9.5 billion euro, up 16% year on year.

The German Federal Bureau of Statistics said in a statement that after adjustment of working days and seasons, the volume of German commodity exports and imports in the current month were higher than those before the outbreak of the new epidemic in February 2020, rising by 1.1% and 10% respectively.
