As a biennial industry event, 2024 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition will be held in the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) on October 14-18. Since 2008, the International Textile Machinery Exhibition has been successfully held for eight times. This exhibition attracted more than 1680 high-quality textile machinery manufacturers from all over the world to gather together, with an exhibition area of 160000 square meters. As in the past, exhibitors from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Belgium, India and other countries will exhibit the latest technologies, as well as textile machinery and equipment such as spinning, weaving, knitting, printing and dyeing, garment processing, embroidery, nonwovens, etc.

In recent years, short process, energy conservation and environmental protection have developed very rapidly, and the overall proportion of digital printing in printing and dyeing has reached about 27%, with huge market potential. Referring to the innovation of the exhibition, Gu Ping introduced that "in order to enrich the docking of the industrial chain to a greater extent, the special area of dyes and chemicals for textile industry and printing inks set up for the first time in the exhibition can better meet the demands of the demand side. In particular, the application rate of digital printing in the ceramic field has reached about 80%, and the penetration rate is very high. More and more ceramic digital printing equipment enterprises are gradually transforming to the development of textile digital printing. It is believed that with the improvement of technology and in-depth research on fabrics, the development space of digital printing in the textile field will be greatly improved. "

For the organization of overseas audiences in 2024, the sponsor is also promoting the process of overseas roadshows, and overseas promotion activities in India, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries are being carried out in an orderly manner. In particular, more and more countries have joined China's new 144 hour visa free policy this year, which will be more conducive to overseas visitors coming to Shanghai to participate in the exhibition.

Gu Ping introduced that the textile machinery industry will run smoothly in the first half of 2024, and the main economic indicators will continue to maintain double-digit growth. In each subdivided industry, the sales of knitting machinery and weaving machinery are still growing. The sales of printing and dyeing machinery have increased from a decline, while the sales of spinning machinery have declined. The sales of chemical fiber machinery and nonwoven machinery are generally stable. The above data shows that the demand for textile machinery in the domestic and foreign markets is still strong, which is also inseparable from the industrial upgrading and technological upgrading of the textile industry in recent years.

In recent years, a series of policies issued by the state have emphasized the important direction of energy conservation and carbon reduction, ultra-low emissions, safe production, digital transformation, and intelligent upgrading. Many enterprises have also seized the opportunity to not only accelerate the integration of cross-border technologies, but also make great efforts to improve their manufacturing capacity in product innovation, and radiate new momentum and vitality in the transformation and upgrading. According to statistics, in the first quarter of 2024, the total fixed assets of enterprises above designated size in the textile machinery industry reached 140 billion yuan, and enterprises have been steadily promoting the improvement of equipment manufacturing capacity.
