Beijing time on June 12th, according to foreign media reports, Google CEO Eric Schmidt (Eric Schmidt) on Wednesday dismissed the increased competition between its company and apple, which may force him to leave Apple's board of directors for speculation.

Schmidt said he had not participated in the meetings of Apple's board for the one or two time, so as to facilitate other directors to discuss iPhone products.

By the end of the year, dozens of mobile phones with Android operating system are expected to appear.

Speaking at a roundtable sponsored by Newhouse Public Relations College of Syracuse University, Schmidt said Apple's iPhone and Android devices were quite different, but he did not provide detailed information.

He added that Google and apple both wanted to develop web browsers designed for mobile phones.

He also said Google had a sense of moral urgency to help media companies make money on the website.

He believes that helping the media companies is also in the interests of Google, because they are hard to adapt to the increasingly networked environment, and the traditional advertising business models of these companies are under pressure.

Schmidt said Google has not yet developed an online advertising solution that enables media companies to get the same high price as offline advertising, but sees huge business opportunities in helping media companies gain more online advertising revenue.

He said that these publishers will benefit from the new products produced by Google's latest DoubleClick display advertising department.

In addition, he disclosed that in the YouTube network video service, Google also did not find a way to earn more revenue, the company developed a YouTube business plan, but he admitted that Google management may have done something wrong.

But he believes that social networking will eventually find ways to sell advertisements.
