Asian Market Will Be Affected By Mulesing

Shepherds are warned that the Mulesing debate will spread to the Asian market.

Rodwells Michael Dekleuver, manager of Vitoria wool company, said China is still ambivalent about the Mulesing debate.

But he said that the Asian market is still a simple problem before European retailers take a hostile stance against Mulesing.

"China is a different market," he said. "We have not heard more about Mulesing in China. But China supplies fabrics to Europeans, so they will be under the pressure of their European consumers.

Thus, when they don't care, their consumers will make them care about this problem.
