According to Kondo analysis, rice can not survive in soil above 0.2% salt content, and cotton can still grow normally in saline alkali soil of 0.5%~0.6%.

This year, the relevant person in charge of the project will conduct tests on the limit of soil salinity and salinity in the agricultural experimental site of Miyagi Prefecture.

Starting next year, the cotton cultivation project will be widely promoted.
