Since the China Textile Industry Federation launched the pilot project of "building a 'family friendly' textile and clothing enterprise" in 2022, the first phase of the project has now come to an end. This number will successively share the best practices of the pilot enterprises in the first phase of the FFF project. The second phase of the project is now open. Chongqing Hongguo Clothing Co., Ltd. is located in the main urban area of Chongqing, with 446 employees and an annual output value of more than 1.9 million pieces. It is one of the largest sweater manufacturers in southwest China. Since its launch in 2019, the enterprise has been committed to creating a warm and harmonious working environment for its employees, and has permeated its care for employees into all aspects of their work and life. It is an enterprise with love and temperature.
At the initial stage of plant construction, the enterprise took staff commuting time and living cost as important considerations for site selection, and finally set the plant at the land transportation hub connecting the main city of Chongqing to the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. The location has convenient transportation, and all kinds of living costs are significantly lower than those of surrounding cities. The daily commuting time of employees has been shortened, and the economic pressure has also been effectively alleviated. At the same time, the enterprise has also given comprehensive care to the living needs of employees. As the proportion of female employees in the enterprise is as high as 75%, considering the dual pressure of work and family faced by female employees after the 1970s and 1980s, the enterprise actively carried out caring actions, implemented the enterprise's care for employees, and helped employees solve various problems in life in an all-round way, from family housing to children's education and medical treatment. Since the opening of the enterprise, the number of employees has continued to grow, and the retention rate of old employees has remained at 70% for a long time.
In January 2024, Chongqing Hongguo officially joined the FFF pilot project with the support of Lindex. After the launch of the project, the expert team of the Social Responsibility Office of China Textile Federation reviewed the original policies and systems of the enterprise, assisted the enterprise to launch its own "family friendly policy" according to the project requirements, guided the enterprise to improve the family friendly enterprise mechanism, and incorporated it into the daily management system; In addition, the expert team also encourages enterprises to explore the real needs of grass-roots employees through various channels, make full use of the resources that can be integrated, and improve the management ability of enterprises. During the project period, the enterprise organized a series of trainings on maternal and child health and nutrition knowledge, anti domestic violence and other topics; It also carried out active exploration and practice in important issues such as family support services, employee welfare optimization, family participation activities, promotion opportunities, flexible working hours, and anti domestic violence.

In order to further standardize the enterprise's management of employee care services, the enterprise has specially issued the Management Measures for the Release of Employee Comfort Gold, which is jointly carried out by the company's trade union, party branch, women's federation, family friendly group and other departments. The management measures clearly stipulate the application conditions and approval process of consolation payments. All employees within the company and their spouses, parents and children are eligible to apply; After an employee submits an application, the management of each department is responsible for filling in the Compassion Fund Application Form, the administrative department approves the comments, and the general manager finally approves them. All materials are summarized and archived by the financial department, realizing the comprehensive coverage and precise management of the enterprise's care services for employees.
From March to July 2024 alone, the enterprise has completed the distribution of six consolation payments, respectively providing schooling rewards for the children of three employees who had excellent college entrance examination results, and medical subsidies for two injured employees and one seriously ill family member.
Fitness room
The enterprise has noticed that many employees are prone to shoulder and neck pain, low spirit and other symptoms due to long-term sedentary work and lack of daily exercise. In order to ensure the healthy physical and mental development of employees, the enterprise encourages employees to strengthen exercise. It has set up a fitness room on the second floor of the factory. The indoor space is wide, equipped with professional fitness and sports equipment, which can accommodate up to 20 people to exercise at the same time. It is open to employees all day long, so that employees can carry out activities without leaving the factory in their spare time, which is highly praised by employees, The mental state and work efficiency of employees have been significantly improved, and the production efficiency and quality of the factory have also been effectively guaranteed.

Employee feedback
Employees' trust in the factory comes from Hongguo's care for employees, and all Hongguo employees feel the factory's care.
Xu Min, an employee from Dazhu County, Sichuan Province, is the mother of two children. After working in Hongguo, the factory not only helped her solve the problem of children's schooling, but also overcame all difficulties during the most severe epidemic period. The factory director personally escorted her and the children with persistent high fever to the hospital, so that the children could get treatment in time.

Qin Donghong, an employee, is often late for work because of his remote residence and his children's transportation. When the factory learned about her actual situation, it not only did not blame her, but also offered to help her apply for public rental housing near the factory to solve her specific difficulties in life.

In the process of implementing the FFF project in depth, Chongqing Hongguo Garments Co., Ltd. found that the family friendly policy was very different in different industries and regions. It formulated relevant policies according to local conditions and carried out various work, which doubled the sense of happiness and belonging of employees and improved the construction of corporate culture.
