China Textile Industry Federation Testing Center Was Launched In Wuhan

On November 30, Hubei textile inspection and testing public service platform and China Textile Industry Federation Testing Center (Wuhan) started operation in the Red T Fashion Creative Street in Jianghan District, Wuhan. "We are a sewing thread enterprise, and we need to issue a product inspection report every two or three months. We used to travel to coastal areas to do inspection, but now we can do it in Wuhan!" On the scene, Wu Jian'an, chairman of Hubei Mingren Textile Technology Co., Ltd., a Hanchuan enterprise, said.

The Testing Center of China Textile Industry Federation, established in 2002, is a national third-party testing and certification agency for light textile and consumer goods directly under the China Textile Industry Federation and organized by China Textile Information Center. China Textile Industry Federation Testing Center (Wuhan) is the 12th laboratory set up by the center in China and the first laboratory in central and western China. It will serve Hanzheng Street, radiate to central China, and build a public service platform for the integrated development of "government, industry, university, research, application and testing" in the textile industry.

The platform was jointly established by China Textile Industry Federation Testing Center and Wuhan Aidi Group. The platform can provide standard tests in China, Canada, Europe, Japan and the United States within a routine test cycle of 2-3 working days. The test categories include 21 textile fabrics and clothing, down products, shoes, leather and fur products, bags, personal care and hygiene products, cosmetics, masks, protective clothing, helmets, toys and children's products.

It is reported that the textile and clothing industry in Hubei Province has recovered steadily and improved this year. From January to October, the industrial added value of Hubei textile and clothing industry above designated size increased by 4.9% year on year, the revenue of textile industry and fur industry increased by 3.8%, and the profit increased by 6%.
